Most of our beneficiaries, especially the very poor, are exposed to harsh environmental conditions when they leave hospital, at a time when their health is very delicate as a result of surgery. Worse still, the majority cannot afford anti coagulant drugs, without which their conditions could reverse or worsen. THAP is involved in ensuring the patients get the medicine on their prescriptions and have access to other basic needs that pertain to their recovery
Our mission is to assist needy children suffering from congenital heart defects and rheumatic heart diseases to access diagnostic treatment, surgery and after surgery medical treatment/care. The organization core objective is to alleviate pain and death of young children arising from heart related complications. THAP envisions a world where all kids irrespective of their socio-economic backgrounds can enjoy the gift of being kids – happy at school and at play
